When having you own snake, you must have a proper enclosure for it. It must be big enough for the snake to live in. For their hiding place, a broken log might do. The temperature is one thing also which you should consider. During the day, temperature must be maintain from 85-88F while 90F during the night. The proper range of temperature can make your snake healthy. In terms of feeding, hatchlings may require small pre-killed rat. As it grows longer, then the food it eats should be in bigger size also.
